It’s aromas and flavours change over time. When it is young, ripe fruit dominates with the Refosco’s typical overtones of blackberries and blueberries. As it ages, Cabernet’s force comes through with its grassy tones, which joins the light toasty flavour from the oak barrel, resulting in inimitable overtones.
